Women’s & Girls’ Cricket
After introducing ladies' cricket to the Club last season, Brymbo Cricket Club is very excited to launch the Women’s & Girls’ section of the Club.
Our aim is to make the opportunities for women and girls to play cricket as easy and accessible as possible so they can continue to enjoy the game in a fun and relaxed environment.
Soft Ball Cricket is about getting out and playing: maximum fun, minimum fuss. No pads, no hard ball, no heavy bat, no head-scratching rules. It’s a game for absolutely everybody, no matter your skill level, fitness, or age.
Our long-term aim would be to be able to provide females with the choice and variety to make sure they can play whatever format of the game they want to, whether that be softball or hardball.
So, if you’re one of the many who’ve already dipped their toes in the water - welcome back. If you’re thinking about coming along for the first time, then what are you waiting for? Everyone’s welcome.
The sessions take place every Friday evening during summer months from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm, commencing 22 April 2022 with our ECB qualified Level 2 coach. You’ll learn how to play and the learn the basic skills you will need.
The club will provide the equipment needed for the sessions.
Annual membership is £20.00 and membership forms are available at this link: https://forms.gle/PgNBCjxjv3gPNnKW7
